How to Understand and Address Suicide in Your Communities and Congregations

This training, sponsored by the SAMHSA Garrett Lee Smith EKU Suicide Awareness and Focus on Education Grant, the EKU Department of Psychology, and Milward Funeral Directors brought together behavioral health professionals, clergy, and seminarians. This group learned how to better understand suicide and its impacts for those who are exposed and bereaved, and to develop competency in working with these individuals to mitigate these impacts.
